The festival is free and will involve several days of creative writing, screenings, readings and many more immersive experiences for all ages. The festival is open to the аÄÃŲÊÀúÊ·¿ª½±¼Ç¼ community with events taking place on campus and in аÄÃŲÊÀúÊ·¿ª½±¼Ç¼ town centre.
Each year students on the master’s course ‘Creative Writing and the Writing Industries’ undertake a project-based module called ‘Writing in the Community’. During this module, students collectively plan, curate, promote, and hold a literary festival funded and supported by LU Arts.
festival aims to celebrate eccentricity and non-conformity in a climate that opts to push diversity to the sidelines.
