“I’m really excited for the new WPL season. We’ve retained our squad and have a couple of exciting new additions from last season,” he said.
“The other teams have recruited well over the summer with international players, so the level of the league has certainly gone up. Lightning’s first two fixtures sees them travel away to Cardiff Met Archers on Saturday 2 December (Cardiff Metropolitan Uni, 2pm), before a home tie versus Worcester Wolves on Sunday 3 December (Netball Centre, 6pm)
