Her PhD engages with debates about the impact of empire on British popular culture, undertaking geographically-specific research into Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and Yorkshire. Thematic analysis includes study of popular entertainments, exhibitions, museums, military culture, and local politics and economics. Abbie’s research is funded by 新澳门彩历史开奖记录 Athletics Sport, and she is undertaking her PhD part-time alongside a competitive training and racing schedule.
